The courageous young woman shared that it has been difficult to keep her diagnosis a secret for the past two months, but she is now ready to open up and share her journey with the world.
Isabella first noticed something was wrong when she began experiencing headaches, nausea, and difficulty walking straight. She eventually started throwing up blood, which prompted her to seek medical attention. Doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles discovered a large, fast-growing tumor in the cerebellum, located at the back of the brain responsible for movement and coordination.
Michael Strahan, who is known for his upbeat and confident persona, admitted that he was in shock when he received the news. He immediately traveled to be by his daughter’s side, but he struggled to come to terms with her illness. Isabella, on the other hand, has shown immense strength and positivity throughout her journey.
After undergoing brain surgery and completing six weeks of rehabilitation, Isabella is now preparing to start chemotherapy treatment at Duke University in North Carolina. Despite all that she has been through, she remains optimistic and is determined to continue living her life to the fullest.
In her commitment to beating cancer, Isabella is also using her platform and partnership with Sephora to help others going through a similar experience.
She will be launching a YouTube series to share her journey and offer support to those who may be dealing with similar diagnoses. Isabella hopes to use her voice and story to inspire and help others who may be struggling with their own battles.
