It was recently revealed that Pamela Anderson accused actor Tim Allen of flashing his genitals to her 30 years ago while they were on the set of Home Improvement.
Anderson, who played Lisa on the ABC sitcom, detailed the alleged incident in her upcoming memoir Love, Pamela, claiming that Allen opened his robe and showed her his private parts while they were in the hallway.
Allen has since denied the accusations, calling the incident “completely false” and stating that it “never happened”.
This scandal comes on the heels of Anderson’s Netflix documentary, which follows her life, relationships, and the infamous sex tape scandal with her ex-husband Tommy Lee set to be released later this month.
Anderson, who was 23 at the time of the alleged incident and Allen was 37, was just beginning her career in Hollywood when she was cast as Lisa on Home Improvement.
She had previously posed for Playboy magazine and went on to find massive success on the hit show Baywatch, where she starred as C.J. Parker.
Meanwhile, Allen had his own struggles before breaking out as a mainstream star. In 1978, he was arrested for possession of cocaine and sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to drug charges. He was paroled in 1981 after spending over two years in a Federal Correctional Institution.
On the WTF With Marc Maron podcast, Allen opened up about his time in prison, saying he learned “how to live day by day” and “how to shut up”.
The alleged incident on the Home Improvement set occurred in 1991, and Anderson went on to appear in 22 episodes of the show until her last appearance during the show’s sixth season in 1997.
Both Anderson and Allen have gone on to find career success in the years since, with Anderson appearing in a number of films and TV shows, while Allen has starred in Last Man Standing and lent his voice to the Toy Story franchise.
Allen has vehemently denied the accusations, but Anderson has not yet responded to his statement.
