Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva recently spent some quality time with their two sons on a farm. Photos of the family enjoying nature’s simple pleasures were posted to Silva’s Instagram account Sunday.
The photos show Richard Gere standing behind Alejandra Silva as she helps their 4-year-old son Alexander milk a cow. The couple’s 2-year-old son, whose name has yet to be revealed, also made an appearance in the photos. Silva also paid tribute to her stepson, 22-year-old Homer Gere, in the post.
“In these times, especially if you live in the city, it is so difficult to be able to enjoy the basic pleasures that nature offers us — for me, the ones I value the most and those I want to instill in my family,” Silva wrote in her post, as translated from Spanish.
“Back to basics. This one goes out to our beloved Homer Gere,” she said of Homer, whom Gere shares with ex-wife Carey Lowell.

The family recently took a special trip for Silva’s 40th birthday, but unfortunately, everyone in the family fell ill. Silva shared a photo of her and her two sons walking toward the ocean on a beautiful beach.
“Thank you all for the birthday wishes.. after almost 3 weeks of everyone being sick in our family today finally I feel much better! Thank you for all the love ❤️ I give it all back to you! 💫 #happybirthday #happy40,” she wrote on the post.
In another post, she shared pictures of her birthday celebration with Gere right by her side. She captioned the post, “What an amazing birthday! Thank you all my friends and family for make it so special!💫♥️ #happybirthday ! Ps: as you can see we are all mostly recovered..”
