Celebrity Chef Embroiled In Controversy After Outrage Over A Lamb

Gordon Ramsay is at it again. We can always count on him for controversial videos or rants.  His latest one involves an innocent lamb getting ready to be slaughtered for Ramsay’s next meal.

Ramsay’s followers have speculated that the 30-second video is a response to a TikTok feud the chef found himself a part of back in January.

Vegan TikTok user ThatVeganTeacher, posted a song that was directed at Ramsay, and quickly gathered over 100,00 views.

In the video, she can be heard singing: ‘Eating animals is wrong, Gordon Ramsay. Hurting animals is wrong, Gordon Ramsay. Share this song, and if you call me a donut, that’s fine as long as you’re vegan from now on.’

Ramsey’s latest TikTok video has sparked a fresh wave of disgust, despair, and outrage. In the video, Ramsey states:

“Yummy, yum, yum, yum, yum,” he’s heard saying in the 28-second clip, as he climbs over the fence into the yard.

“Which one’s going in the oven first?” he asks, before pointing at one and proclaiming, “You.”

“The lamb sauce was still not found in the making of this video,” he captioned the clip.

The video, which has been viewed more than 7.5 million times, has sparked an onslaught of responses, many of which are outraged.

This however, is not the first video that Ramsay posted in response to ThatVeganTeacher, he posted an original response which was footage of him greedily eating a hamburger and refers to the teacher as a ‘donut’.

Among the backlash, not all of the responses are negative.  One user tweeted, “Americans are way too far removed from their food. If you’re offended by Gordon Ramsay picking out a lamb to eat, you’re a spoiled child. Also, go outside and touch some grass.”

Whichever side of the fence you are on, we can all admit the lambs are adorable and delicious.
