A Russian biker near the Moscow region helps apparent jumper.
On Friday, September 1st, A Russian biker, Ivan Zollverein, uploaded his helmet-cam footage online of his heroic attempt of saving a suicidal man’s life. During this exchange, we learn the man has missed his mothers funeral.With his grief over-coming him, he has decided to end it all.
The grieving man first rejects of Ivan assistance but through love and persistence, a change was made. The exchange last for a few moments but the impact the biker made on the man will imaginably last a life time. A few moments is all it took to save his life.
It took rescue units roughly about 10 minutes to arrive. All the While, Zollverein kept the man engaged. In an interview, later, Ivan spoke about his reasoning. You can read more of their exchange, here.
“I knew that I was violating the traffic rules and I was doing it as carefully as possible, as I realized that had no time for any other option. He could have jumped straight under a car,” Ian explained.
But knowing that didn’t stop him from doing what he knew was right. Ivan truly is a hero as it’s made clear in the video below. The footage is currently circulating most major social media outlets.
