Jada Pinkett Smith Directly Address Oscars Slap & Many Are Rolling Their Eyes

I don’t think Jada Pinkett Smith realizes that she is about as popular and is one step from being the next Amber Heard.

For the first time since the infamous slap at the Oscars Jada addressed the controversy during a segment of the Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk.

You may remember that after Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock for making a light joke about Jada’s hair she goaded Smith to do something and was caught on camera snickering.

“My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” Pinkett Smith says of her husband and Rock. “The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening.”

The rest of the episode focused on alopecia and the actress’s struggles.

“Considering what I’ve been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories,” she says atop the episode. “I’m using this moment to give our alopecia family an opportunity to talk about what it’s like to have this condition and to inform people about what alopecia actually is.”

Pinkett Smith recently alluded to the slap by posting an image on social media saying, “This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.”

Pinkett Smith is something else, not only does she brag about cheating on her husband but she basically gets him fired from his job and then plays the victim.

The slap forced Smith to resign from the Academy and he has been banned from attending Oscar ceremonies for the next ten years. Meanwhile, Pinkett Smith is making media appearances for publicity.
