Culkin’s Reunion with Home Alone Co-Star: You Won’t Believe What Happened!

Hollywood, California – December 1, 2023: Fans of the beloved holiday film “Home Alone” were in for a treat on Friday afternoon as Macaulay Culkin tearfully reunited with his on-screen mother Catherine O’Hara at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 43-year-old actor was honored with the 2,765th star on the iconic walkway in a ceremony filled with heartfelt speeches and emotional moments.

Emceed by president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Steve Nissen, the star-studded event saw guest speakers such as “Orange is the New Black” actress Natasha Lyonne and O’Hara herself, who played Culkin’s mother in the hit film.

In her speech, the 69-year-old actress praised Culkin’s work ethic and natural talent, acknowledging that his performance in “Home Alone” made the film a global sensation that families still love and watch together to this day. “I know you worked really hard,” O’Hara said, “but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do.”

Culkin’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was in the category of Motion Pictures, recognizing his successful career that began with his big-screen debut in 1988’s “Rocket Gibraltar.” He then went on to star in other films such as “Uncle Buck” and “My Girl” before achieving worldwide fame with “Home Alone” in 1990 and its sequel, “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” in 1992.

The ceremony was also attended by Culkin’s fiancée Brenda Song, their two sons, and his goddaughter Paris Jackson. In his acceptance speech, Culkin expressed his gratitude towards his fiancée, saying “You’re absolutely everything. You’re the best person I’ve ever known.” He also thanked O’Hara for being a part of the reunion and credited her as one of his favorite people after the birth of his two sons.

Ana Martinez, the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, also spoke highly of Culkin, saying “Macaulay Culkin has been a staple in pop culture for decades.” She added that it was fitting for O’Hara to reunite with her on-screen son and speak at the ceremony.

Culkin’s recent works include appearances in “American Horror Story” and “The Righteous Gemstones,” and he has also dedicated his time and efforts to various charities.
