This weekend, Jennifer Aniston celebrated her 54th birthday by looking back at her childhood memories with her late parents, Nancy Dow, and John Aniston.
The “Friends” star posted a rare black and white throwback photo of herself as a child and her parents to Instagram, writing in the caption that she was “basking in the afterglow of a beautiful birthday.”
“Thinking about these two humans that created me as I bask in the afterglow of a beautiful birthday🎈Thank you ALL for my beautiful birthday wishes. I felt sooooo much love from so many and ALL of it is going to carry me through this wild and beautifully unknown year ahead. I love you! ”

Aniston’s followers, fellow celebrities, and friends joined in the celebration, posting their well wishes to the birthday girl in the comment section. Naomi Campbell and Chelsea Handler wrote sweet messages, while Kate Hudson simply added a red heart emoji.
Reese Witherspoon, who previously guest-starred alongside Aniston on “Friends” and now stars alongside her in “The Morning Show,” shared a carousel of photos of the two, calling her a “big sis” and writing, “You always give the best advice and endless LOVE and support. I 💖 you, Jen! Everyone wish her a Happy Birthday!! 🎂💫.”

Aniston’s parents, both actors, were married from 1956 to 1961. Her mother, Nancy Dow, passed away in May 2016 at the age of 79. Her father, John Aniston, a soap opera legend, died at the age of 89 in November of last year.
Aniston recently wrapped up filming for season 3 of “The Morning Show” on Apple TV and has several upcoming projects, including an untitled Shawn Levy project and the comedy “First Ladies.”
