Vanilla Ice Makes Remark About Miranda Lambert Incident

Rapper Vanilla Ice addressed the recent controversy involving country star Miranda Lambert and her fans during his appearance at the “I Love the ’90s” concert at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The concert featured retro performers like Young MC and C&C Music Factory, and Vanilla Ice took the opportunity to share his thoughts on the matter.

The rapper, whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, made a reference to Miranda Lambert while onstage. After performing his iconic hit “Ice Ice Baby,” he invited fans to join him onstage and encouraged them to take selfies. According to reports from People, Vanilla Ice told the crowd, “You can take all the selfies you want — this ain’t no Miranda Lambert concert.”

Later in the show, Vanilla Ice continued to support fans using their phones for selfies, saying, “Turn it around like Miranda hates.” This statement seemingly alluded to the recent incident at Lambert’s Las Vegas residency show, where she stopped the performance to scold fans for taking selfies instead of listening to her music.

In the video clip of Lambert’s rant posted on TMZ, Lambert expressed her frustration with the selfie-takers, stating, “These girls are worried about their selfies and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. And I’m singing some country damn music.”

The incident sparked a debate among fans, with some applauding Lambert’s strong reaction, while others argued that concertgoers should be free to enjoy the show in their own way, considering they paid for it.
