Actor John Aniston, the father of Jennifer Aniston, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, at age 89. Jennifer posted an emotional tribute on Instagram to the news of her father’s passing.
“Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew,” the 53-year-old wrote in the touching tribute. “I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less!”

Jennifer added, “You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. I’ll love you till the end of time. Don’t forget to visit 💫🤗❤️.”
As of yet, the cause of death has not been revealed. 
John Aniston, born July 24, 1933, in Crete, Greece, was best known for playing Victor Kiriakis on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives.” John Aniston first appeared on the show in 1970 and continued to star in the show up until his final appearance which will air on December 26, 2022. John’s long-time role earned him a Lifetime Achievement Emmy earlier this year.
Fellow soap opera star, Lisa Rinna posted in the comments, “Rest In Peace sweet John 🙏🏻🕊🕊🕊❤️.”
Actress-comedian Amy Sedaris, 61, commented condolences saying, “Awwwwww so sorry. I’ll light a candle. We love our fathers ❤️❤️❤️.”
