T.J. Holmes’ Estranged Wife Breaks Silence Amid Divorce and Cheating Scandal

T.J. Holmes and Marilee Fiebig’s divorce has been making headlines for the past few weeks amid reports of Holmes’ reported affair with co-anchor Amy Robach.

Now, Fiebig is speaking out for the first time, with her attorney releasing a statement expressing her disappointment in Holmes’ “lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity,” as she looks forward to “new beginnings in the new year.”

Fiebig’s attorney Stephanie Lehman gave a statement to the DailyMail, saying, “Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interests of her nine-year-old daughter. To that end, TJ’s attorney and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously, and as amicably as possible.”

Lehman continued saying, “Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J.’s lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity toward Marilee and the parties’ daughter.”

“Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to new beginnings in the new year,” the statement ended.

It’s been a difficult and trying time for Fiebig, who married Holmes in March 2010 and share 9-year-old daughter Sabine. Holmes also has two children, Brianna and Jaiden, from a previous marriage to Amy Ferson.

The divorce petition comes after the alleged romance between Holmes and Robach, 49, made headlines last month when the Daily Mail published video and photographs that made it apparent something romantic was happening between the two married anchors.

One picture showed the two holding hands, while another showed Holmes patting Robach on the bottom. The outlet also obtained photos and video of Holmes and Robach kissing while in Miami last week.

Robach wed “Melrose Place” star Andrew Shue in 2010. While the pair did not have kids together, Robach has two children from her first marriage to Tim McIntosh.

In response to the allegations, ABC decided to sideline Robach and Holmes from the afternoon news program, calling the allegations a “distraction.” Holmes appeared to hint at marital strife in a March 2020 Facebook post in which he admitted he gave Fiebig “plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine (behind) out the doooooooor.”
