Out Of Control Actress Turns A Neighborhood Into A Ball Of Flames

Actress Anne Heche was presumed to be under the influence during a fiery wreck on Friday, August 5th, before 11 AM the morning.

Heche is most known for her work as Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera “Another World.” Some of her films are “Donnie Brasco,” “Six Days Seven Nights” and “Return to Paradise.” More recently she appeared in the TV series “All Rise” and “Chicago P.D.” and the movie “The Brave.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, Law enforcement officials said Heche was considered to be under the influence and acting erratically.

Fifty-nine firefighters arrived on the scene, and it took 65 minutes to fully contain and extinguish the fire.

As reported by FaithTap:

Heche, 53, had initially been listed in critical condition with severe burns. Her condition was upgraded on Saturday.

Friday’s fiery finale was preceded by the actress smashing her blue Mini Cooper into an apartment building. When bystanders tried to get her out of the car, she drove off, ultimately hitting a house.

According to the Los Angles Times and TMZ, she reversed and drove off before residents could help Heche out of her car. Shortly after, Heche crashed into a nearby home and ignited a fire in Mar Vista, a neighborhood on L.A.’s Westside.

A representative for her said, “Anne is currently in stable condition. Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”

According to People, a witness named Lynne Bernstein said Heche’s car went “almost all the way through” the house and “almost immediately” caught fire. Bernstein said Heche was fortunate to be alive.

It took dozens of firefighters over an hour to extinguish the flames. A Los Angeles Fire Department said the home was “heavily damaged.”

Thankfully the resident of the home was not injured.
