New Dad Brody Jenner Says He Wants To Be The ‘Exact Opposite’ Of His Dad Caitlyn Jenner

New father Brody Jenner has expressed his eagerness to approach parenting differently from his own father, transgender-identifying reality star Caitlyn Jenner. In a recently released video, the 39-year-old opened up about his strained relationship with Caitlyn, emphasizing that his father was not present during his upbringing.

Reflecting on his childhood, Brody candidly shared, “Growing up, I didn’t have the greatest relationship with then-Bruce. He wasn’t really around for me growing up.” This has led him to look forward to breaking the cycle and becoming the best father he can be for his newborn daughter, Honey Raye, born to him and fiancée Tiarah “Tia” Blanco in late July.

Caitlyn Jenner, a former Olympic gold medalist, publicly announced her transition to a woman named Caitlyn in 2015. The transition, while personal for her, has also affected her six children from three previous marriages. Two of Caitlyn’s children, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, have occasionally discussed their father’s transition with the public.

Kendall, for instance, conveyed in 2015 that while her father is now a woman, she still refers to her as “dad.” The family dynamic shifted, as Caitlyn’s transition changed the physical presence of her father, though the emotional connection remained.

However, the aftermath of adults embracing a transgender lifestyle and its impact on their families is a topic less often addressed. Recently, Daily Wire host Michael Knowles interviewed Tracy Shannon, a Texas woman known as a “trans widow,” who revealed the toll her ex-husband’s transgender lifestyle took on their family.

Tracy shared that her husband’s cross-dressing sexual fetish led him to fully embrace a transgender lifestyle, which ultimately tore their family apart. Tracy disclosed that her husband never informed her about his cross-dressing preference before they were married. When she discovered his behavior around four years into the marriage, she expressed her discomfort, but her husband persisted.

The most concerning aspect of Tracy’s account pertains to their children. She detailed their experiences of embarrassment, alleged abuse at their father’s home, and the heart-wrenching revelation of six suicide attempts among her three children with her ex-husband.
