Mom Doesn’t Back Down After Internet Mob Attacks Her For Teaching Her Daughter A Vital Life Lesson

An Oklahoma mother of six recently posted a video showing her 18 year old daughter signing a lease agreement to live in her house.

The video has gone viral receiving more than 1.6 million views, 130,000 likes, and over 4,000 comments.

In the video the mother used the song “It’s a Hard Knock Life” from the musical “Annie” and called it a teaching moment.

But, that didn’t stop the internet mob from attacking her and whiny Gen Zers claimed it was abuse.

“My parents did this and we no longer talk! So good luck I guess,” one person said.

“I’m in my 20s and can barely get by with two jobs. HELP HER SAVE !!! So she can be financially stable when she goes on her own,” said another.

“I’m 28 live with my parents and don’t pay a single dime of rent lol,” a user commented.

However, mom followed up and slammed the mob explaining that she “was a single mom at 16 and my parents didn’t set me up for success, I had to fight for every single thing I have.”

The mother of six said that she doesn’t want her child to rely on her and wants her to get some safe real-world experience before she leaves the house.

She also mentioned that this is the only bill her daughter pays and it will give her “renter’s history” so when she moves out the new landlord can see that she has a history of paying rent.
