Mila Kunis Just Dropped a Bombshell About Ashton and Reese’s Red Carpet Photos

Mila Kunis is known for her acting chops, but it turns out she’s also quite a sharp critic. The actress recently joked with her husband Ashton Kutcher and his co-star Reese Witherspoon about how awkward they looked together on the red carpet while promoting their upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine.

Kutcher and Witherspoon attended several events together to promote the film, which led some social media users to question the pair’s dynamic. But despite their red carpet awkwardness, Witherspoon insists there’s no tension between the two.

During an interview on Today with Hoda & Jenna, Witherspoon spoke about Mila and said, “She even emailed us last night. She goes, ‘You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together.'”

“My wife called me, she texted Reese and I together, and she’s like, ‘Guys, you gotta act like you like each other,’” Kutcher said on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast.

Witherspoon went on to say, “It was just fun to get to know her significant other ‘cause I’ve loved her for so long. He’s so professional. He’s the funniest guy. I mean, such a goofball. We had so much fun, and every time he’d wear a funny outfit, I’d text Mila. I’d be like, ‘What is he wearing?’”

Kutcher shared similar praise for Witherspoon back in December, telling People that “We just had fun. I can talk to Reese about anything—acting, business, kids, media, football. She’s always game.”

However, Kutcher did give an answer as to why it seemed like they were awkward and had no chemistry. “Here’s the thing: If I put my arm around her and was, like, all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her,” he said on the podcast.

“If I stand next to her and I put my hands in my pockets, so there’s no chance that, like, that could be the rumor, the rumor is we don’t like each other,” he continued.

Kutcher, 45, clarified, “Reese and I are really good friends. We’re really close. I don’t have to defend that.”

Your Place or Mine follows exes-turned-best friends, Debbie and Peter, who live on opposite coasts. When the two decide to switch lives for a week, it could lead to a rekindled romance between them.

The film, which is written and directed by Alisha Brophy and Scott Miles, is set to be released on Netflix on Feb 10.
