Jennifer Lopez took to social media to express her love and appreciation for her husband, actor Ben Affleck, on Father’s Day. The 53-year-old singer and actress shared a “Daddy Appreciation post” on her Instagram account, which boasts an impressive 247 million followers.
In the post, Affleck, the 50-year-old Oscar winner, showcased his fit physique by going shirtless and revealing his well-defined abs in a mirror selfie. The couple appeared completely comfortable and at ease in each other’s arms as they snapped a series of candid photos together.
Lopez accompanied the images with a heartfelt caption, writing, “Daddy Appreciation Post. Happy Father’s Day Papa. And Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Papas out there!! We love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know.”
The couple shares a blended family, with a total of five children. Lopez has 15-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her previous marriage to singer Marc Anthony. Affleck, on the other hand, has three children, Violet (17), Seraphina (14), and Samuel (11), from his previous marriage to actress Jennifer Garner.
Lopez and Affleck’s romantic journey has had its ups and downs over the years. They first became engaged in 2002 and had plans to marry in 2003 but ultimately called off their relationship in early 2004. However, they recently rekindled their romance in April 2021 after Lopez ended her engagement with Alex Rodriguez and Affleck parted ways with Ana de Armas.
The couple made their engagement public last year when Lopez announced the news in a newsletter to her subscribers. They tied the knot in a private ceremony at The Little White Wedding Chapel in July, just after midnight. They later celebrated with a second wedding at their lavish $8 million estate in Georgia, following a romantic honeymoon in Italy.
