Jennifer Aniston recently opened up to Access Hollywood about how she has “risen out of some ashes” and is in a great phase of life. The 54-year-old actress is currently promoting her new Netflix movie, Murder Mystery 2, which is set to be released on the 31st of March.
In June 2021, Aniston told PEOPLE that she was “in a really peaceful place” in her life. She said that she has a job that she loves, people in her life who mean a lot to her, and beautiful dogs. Aniston also said that she is “just a very fortunate and blessed human being”.
The Friends alum also discussed the importance of self-awareness. She said that therapy has been a great help to her in dealing with the pressures of being a public figure. She said that sometimes it’s hard to ignore the rumors and speculation that come with it, such as speculation about her private life and relationships.
“Self-awareness is key,” she continued. “I’ve really gotten a lot out of therapy. Just being a public person, there’s a lot of amazing things that come with that. But there’s also a lot of tough stuff, because we’re only human, and we tend to walk around with bulls-eyes on our heads.”
“Sometimes you can’t help family members or people sending stuff over going, ‘What is this? You’re having a baby? Are you getting married?’ It’s like, ‘Oh, good gosh, when and how many years will it take for you to ignore that silliness?’ ” Aniston said.
In Murder Mystery 2, Aniston reunites with her real-life friend and costar Adam Sandler. The movie follows the two characters, Nick and Audrey Spitz, as they attempt to launch their own private-eye agency. During the course of the movie, they find themselves attending a wedding on a private island, only for the groom to be kidnapped for ransom shortly after the festivities begin.
