Throughout this challenging ordeal, Sophia’s sons, Carlo Jr., 55, and Edoardo, 50, have been steadfastly by her side, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news of her condition was officially communicated by her eponymous restaurant chain’s team, who shared updates on Instagram.

In a statement posted on the restaurant’s social media page, it was revealed that Sophia Loren had successfully undergone surgery with a positive outcome. However, she will require a brief period of recovery followed by an extensive rehabilitation process.
