Comedian Gabriel Iglesias, widely known as “Fluffy,” expressed gratitude for being alive after a frightening incident involving a private jet. Iglesias, 46, took to social media to share a video of the aftermath, showing the aircraft resting in a muddy field with passengers and crew members making their way toward emergency services.

In an Instagram post, the comedian wrote, “Emergency landing!!! Our private jet skid off the runway and wound up in a field in Andrew’s, N. Carolina. Everyone is ok but shaken up.” He concluded the message by expressing his love for his fans and followers and reiterating his relief at being alive.

The incident occurred as Iglesias was en route to his next performance at Harrah’s Cherokee Event Center in Asheville, North Carolina, as part of his “Don’t Worry, Be Fluffy” tour. According to the sheriff’s office, the Gulfstream aircraft with the registration N924MB experienced difficulty coming to a stop for reasons yet to be determined. It slid approximately 600 feet off the runway’s end due to heavy rain that had been occurring in the area during the morning. The post assured the public that responders from Valleytown Fire and Rescue reported no injuries.

While Iglesias and the other passengers were unharmed, they were understandably shaken by the incident. Further investigations into the cause of the emergency landing are pending, with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) expected to be involved.

Gabriel Iglesias is well-known for his successful career as a stand-up comedian and has also made appearances in popular films such as “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” “Magic Mike XXL,” and “Coco.” His relatable humor and charismatic stage presence have garnered him a dedicated fan base over the years.
