Oregon tight end Spencer Webb was poised to become an NCAA football star. After playing 11 games for Oregon, he would be the starter in the upcoming 2022 season.
Sadly, Webb, 22, died during a diving accident that occurred near the University. Police said that Webb struck his head at Triangle Lake. Despite their best efforts, good samaritans and paramedics could not revive him.
Recently, Kelly Kay, Webb’s girlfriend, posted a tribute to her lost boyfriend using silly photos of the pair.
“My best friend my twin flame the love of my life. I’ve never loved anything as much as i love you. You were my everything, you gave me purpose, you showed me what it’s like to be cherished and valued and seen for me,” she wrote in the post.
“We had so many big plans. I don’t know where to go from here but I know you’ll be watching over me keeping me strong. You always put everybody else before yourself and I’ll try to hold the same kindness in my heart from this life to the next one baby I love you so much and I’ll find you again.”
The Ducks football coach and fellow players have also written tributes writing that Webb was “so full of life in every moment of the day.”
🙏 So full of life in every moment of the day. Your smile and energy will be missed Spencer. I love you!

So sad to hear about the death of Oregon’s Spencer Webb. So young. He was a star at Christian Brothers High School and recently visited campus a few weeks ago. He cared about his roots. Thinking about his family, friends and loved ones. Life is so precious.
