Famous Actress/Singer Deals With Major Crisis

Glee actress and Broadway star, Lea Michele has provided an update on her son Ever’s health after he was hospitalized earlier this week due to a “scary health issue.” The Funny Girl actress shared the news in an Instagram Story post on Saturday, saying that Ever is headed in the right direction, but they are “still not out of the woods completely.”

Michele, 36, announced on Monday that she was taking time off from her Broadway show Funny Girl to be with her son, sharing a photo of her hand on Ever’s arm in an Instagram Story post. She wrote, “We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for.”

On Saturday, the Glee alum shared an update after returning to the stage: “It’s been a really long week, and we’re still not out of the woods completely with our son. But he’s headed in a good direction, and we’re really, really grateful.” She added that she had a cold from the lack of sleep during the past week.

“Thank you for all your well wishes this past week,” she captioned the shot on her Instagram Story.

After thanking everyone for their love and support, Michele posted a photo of Ever cuddling a teddy bear in a hospital bed, writing, “We are taking our boy home from the hospital soon. Thank you to all the amazing doctors and hospital staff.”

Michele and her husband, Zandy Reich, who was first romantically linked in July 2017, share Ever. Reich proposed to Michele the following April with a four-carat elongated radiant cut ring he designed with Leor Yerushalmi and The Jewelers of Las Vegas.

The couple’s son is on the mend, and Michele is back to work on her Broadway show, but the family is still trying to get through this difficult time.

“But I’m really happy to be back with my Funny Girl family,” Michele concluded. “And I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for just so much love and support this week. I really, really appreciated it.”
