Dukes Of Hazzard Star’s Devastating Loss

John Schneider, best known for his role in the hit TV show The Dukes of Hazzard, has revealed that his wife Alicia Allain has died at the age of 53.

An obituary for Allain said that she died “at her home surrounded by her family as she took her last breath on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.” She had been battling breast cancer since 2019 after a dermatologist discovered it had spread to her skin.

Schneider, 62, paid tribute to Alicia in a heartfelt statement, writing, “My beautiful Smile is pain-free, living in her new body alongside Jesus.” The couple had married in 2019, and Schneider often referred to her as “Smile”.

Allain was born in 1969 in Louisiana. She began her career as an actress, appearing in films such as Leather Jackets, Caged Fear, Almost Hollywood, and Auto Focus. After her film career, she went on to create her own entertainment company, Maven Entertainment, and she worked as a producer on nearly 20 films from 1995 to 2022, with two further projects due to come out. She also worked in the 1990s as a hairstylist for several other films and TV shows.

Allain and Schneider began dating in 2015 and they went on to produce several small-budget films before transitioning into music producing, creating over 100 songs together in recent years. Following her 2019 diagnosis, Allain had been open about her battle against cancer, with the couple revealing on Fox and Friends in 2020 that she had been given just a few years to live.

Allain is survived by a daughter, Jessica, a stepdaughter, Karis, and a granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine, Louisiana.

The family has asked for privacy following the tragedy, but Schneider asked his fans to share their fond memories of the couple by posting pictures on social media.
