Devastating News: MMA Fighter Victoria Lee Passes Away at 18

The MMA community is mourning the sudden and unexpected loss of rising star Victoria Lee, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at only 18 years of age.

Victoria, the younger sister of MMA fighter Angela Lee and the daughter of Ken and Jewelz Lee, made a name for herself in the MMA world at a young age. She was an incredibly talented and promising young athlete, and had already begun to make waves in the sport, with three victories under her belt in the women’s atomweight division.

Her older brother Christian is the current ONE Welterweight World Champion and ONE Lightweight World Champion, and Adrian is the newest to join the family business and won an amateur title in December 2022. Victoria’s death has left her family and the MMA world in shock and grief.

On Instagram, Angela wrote of her sister’s passing, “She has gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated since then. We miss her. More than anything in this world. Our family will never be the same. Life will never be the same.”

Angela continued by saying, “Victoria was the most beautiful soul who ever lived. She was the best little sister in the world. The best daughter, the best granddaughter and the best godma / aunty to Ava and Alia.”

Tributes for the young rising star poured in from the MMA world and beyond, with fans, friends, and peers all expressing their shock and sadness at Victoria’s untimely death.

ONE Championship’s CEO Chatri Sityodtong shared a touching message, stating he was “heartbroken” by Victoria’s death. He wrote, “She wanted to use her life to help the world. I will always remember Victoria for the beautiful and precious soul that she was.”

Victoria’s death is an immense loss for the MMA community. No cause of death has been shared.
