Blink 182’s Travis Barker Abruptly Leaves Tour After Urgent Family News

Rock band Blink-182 has announced the postponement of their European tour dates following drummer Travis Barker’s sudden return to the United States due to an “urgent family matter.” The band took to their official Instagram account to share the unfortunate news, explaining that their Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows would be rescheduled, with further details to be provided when available.

The nature of the family emergency that prompted Barker, 47, to rush home remains undisclosed at this time, and inquiries have been made for additional information.

Before the announcement, Barker had shared several photos on his Instagram Story, including images of him visiting a prayer room, where he posted pictures of a stained-glass window and a banner reading “Together We Pray.” Interestingly, he had also covered the license plate of the band’s tour bus with the phrase “DON’T TRUST ANYONE.”

It’s worth noting that Travis Barker and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, are currently expecting a baby boy. The couple had joyously revealed their pregnancy during one of Blink-182’s tour stops in Los Angeles on June 16. Kardashian, 44, held up a handwritten sign that read, “Travis I’m Pregnant,” while a camera captured the heartwarming moment. The sign was inspired by the band’s 1999 music video for “All The Small Things,” in which a fan similarly displays a sign that says, “Travis I’m Pregnant.”

Just a few weeks after the pregnancy announcement, Barker and Kardashian hosted a lively gender reveal party, adopting a music tour theme for the occasion. Attendees received tour passes that humorously read, “Baby Barker World Tour with Special Guest Kravis. All Access.”

Travis Barker is already a father to daughter Alabama, 17, son Landon, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler. Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian shares her children, daughter Penelope, 11, and sons Reign, 8, and Mason, 13, with her former partner Scott Disick.

The Blink-182 tour was eagerly anticipated by fans in Europe, and while the Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows have been temporarily postponed, the band is committed to rescheduling these dates and continuing their tour as soon as possible. Further updates on Travis Barker’s return to Europe and the rescheduled dates will be provided in due course.
