In a chilling incident that unfolded recently in the heart of Hollywood Hills, “Modern Family” actor Adam DeVine and his wife, Chloe Bridges, became eyewitnesses to a murder that took place just across the street from their residence. The shocking ordeal has left the neighborhood rattled, shedding light on the darker side of the glamorous entertainment industry.
During a recent appearance on the “This Is Important” podcast, DeVine shared the harrowing experience of witnessing a man being gunned down during a high-stakes poker game happening across from their home. What initially seemed like an exciting spectacle turned into a nightmare, as the actor and his wife helplessly observed the events transpiring before their eyes.
Confirming the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) disclosed that the West Bureau Homicide Division is actively investigating the homicide that occurred near DeVine’s residence. On the early morning of June 7, a 35- to 40-year-old male was fatally shot outside a Hollywood Hills home. Reports indicate that the victim and an unidentified suspect were present outside the property before the shooting occurred. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
Further reports reveal that the house where the shooting took place is being rented by Tony Toutouni, a social media influencer notorious for his explicit content and lavish lifestyle. Neighbors have complained about Toutouni’s reckless behavior, including street racing and disturbing the tranquility of the upscale neighborhood. However, it is important to note that Toutouni has not been charged with any wrongdoing in relation to the homicide.
This unfortunate incident isn’t the first time DeVine has experienced criminal activity in Los Angeles. Back in 2015, the actor faced the theft of his truck and firearm. While expressing his frustration on Twitter at the time, DeVine lamented the fact that his hard-earned possessions were stolen by individuals lacking ambition and the ability to earn their own luxuries.
